The Closing of APAC

I regret to inform all of my followers that I am closing my studio. For many reasons, financially being the main cause, I felt it were time to close. I am now teaching for Rae Lyne Melancon at All About Dance.

Dance Performance, May 23, 2009

Well, Our final show is Saturday May 23, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The performance is being held at Dutchtown High school on Hwy 73 in Dutchtown, LA. Tickets are $4.00 and may be purchased at the door.

Our performance is showcasing the body, and the art of motion to music. "Just Dance" is our elite performance. My dancers have reached a level of ability that makes me feel a strong sense of accomplishment.

Sunday is a full dress rehearsal. Please be on time! We will try our best to run on schedule and on time. This is our last rehearsal weekend.
I need a few volunteers to help with costume changes during rehearsal.

November 15 & 16 Rehearsal schedule

OOOHHHHHH! Performance is just around the corner! I am sooo excited and anxious! All of the performers are working so hard and the evidence of that will sine when they hit the stage. The next couple of weekends are going to be very busy. We have 2 weekends of rehearsal and then the wekend of performance left. WOW! Its has come upon us soo fasst. Our costumes are as equally amazing as our performers. I can't wait for all of our audience members to see our production!

POSTERS are in and ready for pickup to hang around town. We would like for all parents to come by and pick up a poster or two to hang around town. The more we advertise the fuller our audience will be.

TICKETS will be available for sale this weekend at the studio. General admission (Floor) $10.00 and Balcony $12.00. Mrs. Aimee will also be picking up tickets and posters on Sunday for the St. John and St. James area. For those of you that don't want to wait until Sunday, you are more than welcome to come see us on Saturday to purchse tickets or pick up a poster or two.

Program Ads:

Ads are due Sunday at Pictures. Ads may be personal or business. they may contain a nutcracker photo only. 1/4 size and up to contain photo's. 1/2 size and up to contain photo's and personal greeting. Full page will contain a 1/4 page picture only with greeting.

We are creating a new and more professional look for the program by keeping the ads similar in size and matter. The program will also be in full color. This program will be the most beautiful playbill ever. you will be very impressed and pleased with the new design.

Ad prices are as follows:

business card = $25.00 (business card ads will be located in the back of the program
1/4 page = $ 50.00
1/2 page = $ 100.00
full page = $175.00

Ads are due on Sunday. Simply put on a piece of paper typed or handwritten: ad size, photo or not, and personal greeting. We are trying to finish our program design and need this information right away. You may also turn in information during rehearsal this weekend.

October 18 & 19, Nutcracker Rehearsal Schedule

I do apologize for any inconvenience this late posting has caused. The schedule was set on Monday, Then I have been notified each day by several people having conflicts. I need to inform all of you that as of today, no more conflicts are accepted! This schedule is difficult to make already. There are many things that have to be done to put this show on and I do not have the time to continually change the schedule. If you have not already made me aware of a conflict, you will be unexcused with the potential of forfeiting your spot in the show. I do not mean to be so harsh, but I have a job to do with a goal and objective to see through. These next few weeks will be very busy for my staff and I. Please understand that our priorities and the things that make this show great are our most important effort right now! Our rehearsals are vital to the success of this show. Everyone must attend their scheduled rehearsal. STOP being late. My time is very important and when I have to wait, It is unproductive time that I don't have right now! Understand that this is a general statement for all to hear but directed to those whom it applies.


We are making incredible progress and everyone is working hard! Great Job!
